Meet our Fellows from the Fall 2017 semester.
Kevin Angell - Sophomore, Economics, Political Science, Constitutional Studies, Computing and Digital Technologies
Kevin Angell is a sophomore from Naperville, Illinois studying economics and political science with minors in constitutional studies and computing and digital technologies. He is the managing editor at the Irish Rover, a Sorin Fellow at the Center for Ethics and Culture, and very involved with Notre Dame's chapter of the Knights of Columbus. Kevin currently is an economics research assistant for Professor Kirk Doran, studying the economics of education and innovation. He is very excited to be a part of the Tocqueville Program this year!

Carolyn Ebner - Senior, Program of Liberal Studies, Theology, Constitutional Studies
Carolyn Ebner is a senior from Plymouth, NH majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies and minoring in Theology and Constitutional Studies. She is, a clarinet player in the marching band, a Sorin Fellow with the Center for Ethics and Culture, a former president of Students for Child-Oriented Policy (SCOP), and an RA in Lyons Hall.
Jack Ferguson - Sophomore, Program of Liberal Studies, Constitutional Studies, Italian
John Paul (Jack) Ferguson is a sophomore in Fisher Hall majoring in the Program of Liberal Studies with a double minor in Constitutional Studies and Italian. Jack hails from the Washington, DC area which has given him a strong interest in politics. This year he is serving as On-Campus Vice President for Notre Dame Right to Life and a section editor for The Irish Rover. On weekends, Jack travels and plays with the Notre Dame squash team, squash being a very underrated sport.

Jarek Jankowski - Junior, Philosophy, Program of Liberal Studies, Theology
Jarek Jankowski is a junior from Fremont, CA, double majoring in Philosophy and the Program of Liberal Studies, with a minor in Theology. This year, he is serving as President of Carroll Hall and the Children of Mary, as well as co-President of the Theology Club of Notre Dame. His interests include political philosophy and political theology, legal philosophy, virtue ethics, and religious dialogue.
Roge Karma - Senior, Political Science and Arabic, PPE
Roge Karma is a senior from Southern California studying Political Science and Arabic with a minor in PPE. On campus he performs research on international law with Prof. Paolo Carozza, works as a tutor at the Writing Center and is the former President of bridgeND. He has spent his summers working for a social enterprise in Johannesburg, South Africa as part of the ISSLP program and interning at the State Department. He also plays ice hockey, lacrosse, and loves to surf.
Christian McGrew - Junior, Political Science, Philosophy, Politics and Economics (PPE), Buesiness Economics
Christian McGrew is a junior from Southern California studying Political Science and minoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) and Business Economics. On campus, he is the President of BridgeND, editor of political theory for Beyond Politics, and involved in Unleashed Social Ventures. Last summer he worked in real estate finance and this summer will be in Guatemala working with a social entrepreneurship organization. After graduation, he hopes to attend law school.
Nick Marr - Sophomore, History, Political Science, International Security
Nick Marr is a sophomore from Southern California living in Knott Hall. He is majoring in History and Political Science with a certificate in International Security.
Isabella Penola - Junior, Program of Liberal Studies, Constitutional Studies, Theology
Isabella Penola is a junior from Zionsville, IN. She is a Program of Liberal Studies major with minors in Constitutional Studies and Theology. She works at the Hesburgh Library and at the Constitutional Studies department, and is active in Spiritual Life in her dorm.

Mimi Teixeria - Senior, Political Science and Constitutional Studies
Mimi Teixeira is a Senior currently pursuing a degree in political science with a minor in constitutional studies. She is the president of bridgeND, a transpartisan political discussion club on campus, and is also involved in Young Americans for Freedom, the conservative activist club on campus. When she is not reading about, talking about, or writing about politics, she likes to learn popular songs on the piano and watch comedy series.
Keenan White - Junior, Political Science, History, Constitutional Studies
Keenan White is a junior political science and history major with a minor in constitutional studies and a proud townie, currently living in Badin (Pangborn) Hall. In addition to being a Tocqueville Fellow, she is a Sorin Fellow with the Center for Ethics and Culture and the editor of the Politics & Economics section of the Irish Rover. Additionally, she manages the men’s and women’s boxing teams.
